Counseling Department in 4 Places at Once
The weekend of February 22-23 was an active one for the Biblical counseling team as representatives from our counseling department served in four locations.
Biblical Adjunct Faculty and Counseling Department Staff Members Bonnie Steich and Jennifer Zuck attended the Justice Conference at Calvary Church in Souderton where they built relationships, connection, and staffed the recruiting table.
Staff Counselor Steve Smith, MA Christian Thought and MA in Counseling both from Biblical, finished the fourth week of the adult education elective at Great Valley EPC Church in Malvern, PA: Balancing Life’s Demands – a Biblical Perspective. Director of Ministries at the church is Biblical alum Jim Shackleton.

Counseling faculty member Dr. Bryan Maier spoke the prior week on Broken Relationships.
Director of Biblical’s counseling program Phil Monroe spoke at the Sparrow-Fund couples’ conference in Leola, PA. Phil addressed 40 adults on the topic of trauma and adoption. All attendees were adoptive parents, many of whom have adopted from very difficult countries who have children with physical and emotional scars. This gathering is organized by Biblical Alum Kelly Raudenbush and her husband Mark.
