Grace Fellowship Church, Columbus OH

(posted 3/12/18) - For those who are pursuing a call to serve vocationally through a local church, Grace Fellowship has designed a two-year ministry resident program to assist in, clarify, and affirm that calling. The program's thrust is to raise up men and women living Jesus-centered lives, have a deep conviction to serve His Kingdom and recognize their best contributions in this season of their journey.

The program was birthed in 2015 from the necessity to lengthen Grace's leadership bench as we sought to launch new locations in greater Columbus. Since then we have seen residents step into full time positions both at Grace and in other ministries.

The design is to spend 25 hours per week in both 'hands on' learning coupled with theological and cultural reflection. Ideally, the resident will have completed or in process of completing the degree which will best suit their intentions upon completion of the program. All residents play a key role in growing gospel influence through our ministries and are closely mentored through Grace's leadership and the resident supervisor. Each resident will be salaried at $25,000 annually paid every two weeks. As a resident, your salary will not be based on performance, history or experience.

Residents can expect to spend their first 12 months in rotation through many of the departments in Grace, learning first hand what it means to function as a large, multi-site church. The second year each resident will focus their time in one specific area of ministry which they believe they ultimately feel called to serve in. The program is set up for those who are naturally proactive – virtually every door at Grace will be open for you to explore and learn how to grow in your ministry understanding. The program runs from August through July and is renewable after the first year.

Apex Community Church, Xenia, OH

(posted 3/5/18) - Apex Community Church is seeking a full-time preaching team lead for its Xenia location. The Preaching Team Lead is responsible for proclaiming God's Word at Apex Xenia Gatherings and other gatherings in the network as requested, equipping and facilitating others to preach and teach, communicating the corporate mission & vision of Apex Community in the Gatherings, and providing pastoral care as needed.

Apex is a house church network with 73 house churches. The house church is our primary disciple-making vehicle. The Gathering is the corporate gathering of house churches. The Gathering serves to propel our mission forward in the smaller house church family units living in pursuit of Jesus on His mission. It serves as a megaphone to put on display the works and character of God while also being a funnel to direct people toward Christ, His Church, and His cause. The big idea here is movement, movement toward God and toward people. It moves us toward the relational environments of house churches and missional engagement. We want to move a person from the macro to the micro, for it is in the micro that true health, growth, and maturity can be assessed and fostered. God pursues people to rescue them (coming to them as a missionary God). The Gathering strategy, therefore, is focused primarily on equipping and sending, not bringing. While Gatherings are geared toward equipping the saints, we continually highlight Jesus and the gospel realizing unbelievers may be present and we all need to hear the gospel continually.
