Our annual fund, combined
with tuition and other revenue, provides...
- scholarships for students
- salaries & benefits for faculty and staff
- funds for day-to-day expenses and campus
maintenance
- library purchases and other student resources
We send letters requesting gifts for the annual
fund to friends of the seminary about six times
a year. When special needs arise, we also contact
our supporters for their assistance.
Scholarships Over
60 percent of our students receive financial
aid in the form of scholarships.
Attending seminary is a financial sacrifice for
most of our students and we want to help them
avoid accumulating debt so that they can be more
effective in their ministry. Our annual
Phonathon and our yearly Golf Classic raise
a good portion of the money needed for scholarships.
Achieving Excellence In order to provide our students with a quality
seminary education, we need to maintain a quality
institution. That means attracting outstanding
professors and staff members and constantly improving
our facilities. Our operating expenses include
items such as salaries, health benefits, heat
and electricity, insurance, and taxes. The seminary
makes every effort to keep costs in check but
is still faced with yearly increases in many
areas.
