On Saturday, June 21 Biblical will host a Community Yard Sale from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. This event is open to the public; proceeds from registrations will benefit Hatfield Elementary School and seminary student scholarships.

This fall launches Community Education @ Biblical classes--six week, non-credit courses open to all adults interested in in-depth learning. The classes will be held Thursday nights, 7-9 p.m., at the seminary's Hatfield campus. Registration form PDF.

President David Dunbar was a featured speaker at the East Coast Worship Summit 2008, June 9-12, held at the Church of the Saviour campus.

Univest Corporation, parent company of Univest National Bank and Trust Co., Univest Insurance, Inc., and Univest Investments, donated $5,000 in April to the Catalyst for Missional Leadership (C4ML) at Biblical Seminary.

Biblical is one of 10 ATS seminaries receiving a "Leading Through Change: Innovation in Theological Schools" matching grant from the Kern Family Foundation.

Dr. Phil Monroe, director, Biblical's MA counseling program, is quoted in the April 6 Intelligencer story "From Inspiration to Infatuation."

The seminary welcomes Phillip R. Thorne to our Board of Trustees. Phil has been the senior pastor of West Shore Evangelical Free Church in Mechanicsburg, PA for the last 15 years. He received his MA from Denver Seminary and his PhD from Cambridge University.

Samuel T. Logan, Jr.
has been named special counsel to the president and professor of church history. Sam was, among other positions, president of Westminster Theological Seminary. more

The Longbrake Family Foundation
of Seattle, WA recently approved a $100,000, three-year grant to the seminary to be used within its Catalyst for Missional Leadership (C4ML).

Stephen S. Taylor
has accepted a position as associate professor of New Testament. Steve comes to us from Westminster Theological Seminary where he has been an associate professor of New Testament since 1998. more

Tim Keel, pastor of Jacob's Well in Kansas City, Missouri, has joined Biblical's board of trustees. more

A new Certificate in Missional Theology is now being offered through Biblical's online classes.

Dr. Ed Stetzer
has joined the DMin faculty at Biblical and will teach a course "Entering the Missional Conversation" Feb. 9-13, 2009. Ed Stetzer has planted churches in New York, Pennsylvania, and Georgia and trained pastors and church planters on five continents. Ed Stetzer bio.

Andy Crouch
has joined the DMin faculty. He will teach a course called "Missional Cultural Engagement" Feb 2-6, 2009. Andy is editorial director for The Christian Vision Project at Christianity Today International and executive producer of Where Faith and Culture Meet, a series of short documentary films.
