David G. Dunbar
Associate
Professor of Theology, President (1986)
David
has been president of Biblical Theological Seminary
since 1986 and teaches in the field of theology. David
has also been involved with church planting. He
received his BS from Pennsylvania State University,
MDiv from Biblical Theological Seminary, ThM from Westminster
Theological Seminary, and his PhD from Drew University.
R. Todd Mangum
Assistant
Professor of Theology (1998)
Todd graduated
magna cum laude from Biblical, receiving both the
master of arts in biblical studies and the master
of divinity degrees. In 1990, he also
completed the master of sacred theology degree. In
1993, Todd received the John F. Walvoord Award in eschatology;
he received his PhD from Dallas Theological Seminary
in May 2001. Todd enthusiastically returned to
his alma mater in 1998 and serves as assistant professor
of historical and systematic theology.
Sherry L. Kull
Director of
LEAD MDiv program (2001)
Sherry is the director
of the LEAD MDiv program at Biblical. She holds
a BA degree from Miami Christian College and an MDiv
from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. She
received her PhD from Regent University’s
organizational leadership program in May 2003.
Charles H. Zimmerman
Professor of Practical
Theology (1986)
Charles is professor of practical
theology at Biblical Theological Seminary. He
has a BS from West Chester University, an MA and
MDiv from Biblical Theological Seminary, and a DMin
from Westminster Theological Seminary. Charles
is also on the pastoral staff at Calvary Church of
Souderton.
Adjunct Faculty
Craig Bishop
Craig has been the senior
pastor at Branch Community Church in Harleysville,
PA since 1975 and continues to minister there today. He
has taught biblical leadership principles to churches
in Denmark, Poland, Romania, Jamaica and Haiti. Craig
received his DMin degree from Northwest Graduate School.
John Bryant
John serves as the pastor
for large community and outreach ministries at Calvary
Church in Souderton, PA. A graduate of Philadelphia
Biblical University, he holds degrees in Bible, music,
and a masters degree in organizational leadership.
His experiences have included leadership positions
in the for-profit and non-profit sectors. He has served
regularly in the music ministry of the local church
for more than 25 years.
Dave Detwiler
David is the pastor of Teaching and Ceremonies at
BranchCreek Community Church in Harlesyville, PA, where
he is involved in both teaching ministry and worship
leadership for the weekend services. Dave is a graduate
of the University of Southern California, and holds
the MDiv and the ThM degrees from Talbot School of
Theology at Biola University.
Penny Freeman
Penny teaches Christian counseling at Philadelphia
Biblical University Graduate School. She also is the
supervisor for ministry with HARVEST USA. Penny attended
Villanova University for graduate training in counseling.
She graduated with her masters in 1983 and practiced
counseling privately for 15 years. She is currently
pursuing her EdD in counseling psychology at the University
of Sarasota, Florida.
D. Anthony (Tony) Hart
Tony has served
as the pastor of the Montco Bible Fellowship in Lansdale,
PA since 1992. He can be heard on the Grand Old Gospel
Hour radio program on approximately 30 stations internationally. Tony earned a BA
in Bible from Philadelphia College of Bible and an
MDiv from Biblical Theological Seminary. He is
currently working on his DMin degree.
Kevin Huggins
Kevin is the dean of
graduate studies and a professor of Christian counseling
at Philadelphia Biblical University. He
is an author and ordained minister. Kevin holds
the MDiv and MA degrees from Grace Theological Seminary
and a PhD in developmental psychology and family counseling
from the Union Institute. Over the past 25 years
he has worked with youth and families as pastor, family
therapist, college and prison chaplain, and professor.
David Marks
Dave is the senior pastor
of Bethel Baptist Church, a large church and school
in Cherry Hill, NJ. He
received his BRE degree from Baptist Bible College
and is currently working toward his MS in organizational
leadership at Philadelphia Biblical University.
Paul E. Miller
After receiving his
BS from Temple University, Paul helped to start the
Spruce Hill Christian school where he was principal
and teacher for seven years. He was also the associate
director of World Harvest for fifteen years. During
this time Paul completed his MDiv degree at Biblical
Theological Seminary. Paul
is an author and the founder of seeJesus.net.
Glenn E. Pfeiffer
Glenn is pastor of the Crossroads
Community Church in Montgomeryville, PA. He received
his DMin from Asbury Theological Seminary in preaching
and leadership. In
addition to pastoring, Glenn serves as an adjunct professor
in biblical studies at Asbury Theological Seminary
and a church planting/leadership coach for new churches
in the Brethren in Christ church.
Gary E. Schnittjer
Associate
Faculty
Gary received his
BS from Philadelphia College of Bible and his ThM
and PhD from Dallas Theological Seminary. He
is currently an assistant professor of biblical education
at Philadelphia Biblical University where he teaches
most portions of the Old and New Testament, primarily
the narrative literature and church history. He
is also an associate instructor at Biblical Theological
Seminary teaching for the departments of Old and New
Testament and systematic theology.
Jack Wilson
Jack received his undergraduate
degree from Northeastern Bible College and his MDiv
from Biblical Theological Seminary. He received an MA and PhD in Old Testament
studies from Drew University. Jack has served
in several pastorates and has co-founded a counseling
service. He currently teaches at Eastern Christian
High School.
Daniel R. Young
Dan is a 1979 graduate
of Philadelphia College of Bible with a BS in Bible
and a BA in music. In 1983, he graduated from Biblical
Theological Seminary with an MA in biblical studies
and the MDiv. He would graduate twice more from Biblical
Seminary in 1992 he earned the MA in biblical counseling
and in 2000 he was in the first class of graduates
earning the doctor of ministry degree. In 1979, Dan
began his ministry at the First Baptist Church of Doylestown,
PA where he serves as senior pastor.
