Degree Programs
Biblical offers the following degrees:
Master
of Divinity
The Master of Divinity is the foundational degree for Christian vocation. Students take
75 credit hours in the core curriculum consisting of biblical studies (with biblical languages), theology, and practical theology, along with an internship component.
Each student may then choose 15 credit hours from one of three tracks-- Ministry in Context, Theology and Culture, or a General track. Students choosing the Ministry in Context or General tracks often consider serving or serve in pastoral & church vocations, counseling, or chaplaincies. Students in the Thought and Culture track
often specialize in academic or teaching vocations.

Traditional class format; biblical languages; time flexibility in degree completion.
LEAD Master of Divinity
The LEAD MDiv program
includes a cohort class format; retreats; missions trip; one night a week, one Saturday a month for three years.
LEAD Master of Divinity, Urban Concentration
The LEAD Master of Divinity Urban Concentration is offered in a
cohort class format with an emphasis on ministry in urban culture. The program includes retreats, missions trip; one night a week, one Saturday a month for three years.

Master of Arts in Counseling
MA in Counseling - 2-Year Cohort Program
Cohort class format; retreats; one night a week, one Saturday a month for two years.
Licensure

Traditional class format; emphasis: practical theology.
Master of Arts - Missional Theology
Traditional class format; emphasis: living theology.
Master of Arts - Biblical Studies
Traditional class format; emphasis: Old or New Testament study.
NEW! Master of Arts in Missional Church Planting
Doctor
of Ministry in Advanced Missional Leadership
Six one-week classes on campus; project; completed MDiv or its equivalent required. The DMin is a professional degree designed primarily for pastors and others engaged in vocational ministry. We also offer a Certificate in Advanced Pastoral Studies.
