Biblical Seminary began as Biblical School of Theology in 1971 through the shared vision of Dr. Allan A. MacRae, former president of Faith Theological School, and Dr. Jack W. Murray, president of Bible Evangelism, Inc. More.

Dr. David G. Dunbar was inaugurated as Biblical's third president in 1986. Biblical was accredited by the Middle States Association in 1990 and by the Association of Theological Schools in the United States and Canada in 1995.

Biblical Seminary is located in southeastern Pennsylvania, within easy driving distance of Philadelphia, Wilmington, and Allentown, PA. Local trains and SEPTA buses also provide access to the school. The area boasts historical landmarks (Valley Forge, Independence Hall, and Washington's Crossing, to name a few), cultural attractions, outdoor activities, and beautiful countryside.
