Niemond’s Independent Church, Richfield, PA

(Posted 5/5/17) – Niemond’s Independent Church is currently praying for and seeking the will of God for a full-time pastor whose teaching and life reflect his love for the Lord, His Word, and His people. Our congregation, centrally located within rural Pennsylvania, serves the Village of Richfield and the communities surrounding Juniata and Snyder Counties. We are a Bible-believing independent church with a history of over 200 years of service to the Lord. Our mission, as based upon Matthew 28:19, is to win the lost for Christ both locally in the community and in the foreign field. Our love for Jesus Christ and desire to seek, grow, and go is demonstrated through a variety of worship, fellowship, and service opportunities. In 2006, as God blessed our small country Chapel, we were able to build a new church facility dedicated to His Glory to serve our growing church body of approximately 200 attendants. On January 8, 2017, our facility was completely consumed by a devastating fire. While the cause of the fire remains unknown, our certainty is that God does not make mistakes and continues to be faithful. We have been provided the opportunity to worship in the local high school auditorium and eagerly anticipate the Lord’s great plan for us, in His time!

Our current pastor is hoping to retire in the near future and we wish him and his family the best as he prepares for this new chapter in his life. For more information about Niemond’s Independent Church, please visit our current website. If you feel God leading you to learn more about this position, you may request a job description or submit a resume and cover letter to the Pastoral Search Committee at nicpastorsearch@gmail.com.
