Interserve USA seeks a Donor Relations Officer to provide timely, personalized, strategic communication with those inquiring about giving to Interserve and with donors. The Donor Relations Officer will work alongside the Finance Director and all other colleagues engaged in communicating with donors. The Donor Relations Officer will research individual, foundation, and corporate donor prospects, develop donor briefs, maintain a regular schedule of individualized donor communications, and oversee donor recognition in all forms. The goal of the position is to ensure that prospects and donors experience high-quality interactions with Interserve USA, interactions that foster long-term engagement and partnership. Administrative Assistant Position Overview The Administrative Assistant performs administrative and office support activities for multiple supervisors. Responsibilities include fielding telephone calls; managing calendars; making travel, meeting and event arrangements; preparing reports and financial data; customer relations, receiving and directing visitors, word processing, creating spreadsheets and presentations, and filing.

The Administrative Assistant position requires strong computer and Internet research skills, flexibility, excellent interpersonal skills, project coordination experience, and the ability to work well with all levels of internal staff, as well as outside clients and vendors.

Confidential - Growing Non-Profit, Montgomery County, PA

(Posted 7/23/15) - A growing non-profit organization located in Montgomery County, PA is seeking an energetic, professional and experienced accountant or bookkeeper to join their team. The person in this position will report to the Executive Director as well as being supervised by the organization’s controller.

This position will be the primary resource for all day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping functions. The bookkeeper will be responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, recording of sales transactions, account reconciliation general ledger maintenance, expenses, monthly and annual closing, account analysis, processing payroll and other accounting and bookkeeping duties as assigned. They will also play a critical role in providing accurate, consistent and timely information to the Board, Executive Director, Controller and other team members.

In addition to bookkeeping and accounting responsibilities, the Office Manager will provide administrative support to the Executive Director, team members and program participants.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with diverse internal and external parties over the telephone and in person. They must maintain a high degree of discretion dealing with confidentiality due to the sensitive nature of client information. They must possess a strong attention to detail, a desire to help others, a desire to learn and take on more responsibilities. Excellent communication skills and teamwork attitude is a must.

Specific requirements include:

  • excellent bookkeeping / accounting skills,
  • excellent organization skills,
  • ability to work independently,
  • ability to schedule work and prioritize,
  • good working knowledge of Microsoft Professional Office Suite, QuickBooks,
  • experienced Excel and MS Word user,
  • Degree in accounting or at least 3-years accounting or full-charge bookkeeping experience,

Compensation is competitive and will be commensurate with experience. A flexible work schedule may be possible. Additional duties as may be determined by management.
