Continuing Education Units

Wouldn’t it be convenient to attend CEs taught by a local counselor with expertise in your area of interest, that you could interact with beyond the training? We can help!

Every year Biblical Seminary offers graduate level counseling and psychology courses that may be of interest to you and your continuing education needs. Flyer

Biblical is a nationally accredited graduate school. Courses offered in psychology and counseling meet the requirements of acceptable continuing education by both the State Board of Psychology and the State Board of Social work, Marriage & Family, & Professional Counseling (based on PA code 49.36 (a) (3)).

This summer Biblical will be offering three Advanced Topics courses in our Summer Counseling Institute 2011:

  • MAC701 Forgiveness (1 credit on campus)
  • MAC712A Healing Trauma in International Settings (1 credit online)
  • MAC713A Christian Counseling in the Postmodern Context (1 credit online)

Each one (1) credit course reviews relevant research but focuses on practical and tangible counseling skills and offers varing numbers of clock hours for continuing education. We have designed these courses to best fit into the working professional’s life. The on campus course meets on one Friday night and one Saturday while the on line course run for a month. Flyer.
