ALAN HIRSCH AT BIBLICAL

Alan Hirsch, author and founding director of Forge Mission Training Network, is Biblical Seminary's 2010 commencement speaker and will speak at a luncheon for pastors and ministry leaders. Alan is also the co-founder of Biblical Seminary's online education partner, Shapevine, and part of the leadership team of Christian Associates, a missional church-planting agency focusing on Western Europe.

His book The Shaping of Things to Come (with Michael Frost) is widely considered to be a seminal text on mission. Alan is an adjunct professor at Fuller Seminary and lectures frequently throughout Australia, Europe, and the U.S.

Luncheon: Friday, June 25, 11:45 a.m. On campus. Free boxed lunch provided. Topic: "Untamed: Reactivating a missional form of discipleship." Based on Alan's new book, Untamed, co-authored with Debra Hirsch. Reservations required.

Commencement: Saturday, June 26, 11 a.m. Held at Calvary Church, Souderton, PA. Commencement address: "The End of the Beginning: Exploring a Theology of Risk and Adventure"
