Learning Opportunities
Thinking about pursuing a seminary education or lifelong learning to strengthen your ministry? Biblical Seminary offers many learning opportunities for degree seekers and lifelong learners. Maybe you are considering theological studies or professional pastoral education? Perhaps you need advanced training in counseling or theological ESL classes to strengthen your English skills? Biblical offers a variety of classes for a variety of vocational and continuing educational needs.
Online classes are offered throughout the year in theology and biblical studies. Courses vary from six to twelve weeks in duration and require weekly interaction with the professor and peers through discussion forums, collaborative activies, and chat. Students in the master of divinity, master of arts, and master of arts in counseling program can take up to 30% of their program online.
ESLPLUS offers English as a second language students an assortment of courses that are designed to strengthen their theological and conversational skills. Courses are offered during the day, are non-credit, graduate level courses that can be combined with for-credit courses in a master's degree program (with permission of the program director).
Lifelong learning courses are six week on-campus courses for any one interested in going deeper in his or her understanding of the Bible, scriptural topics, and lay counseling skills. These biblically-based courses are taught by Biblical's faculty and gifted graduates.
