April 9 Event: Child Abuse Recognition & Reporting Training

BTS Graduate School of Counseling is offering a DHS & PA Board-approved training session: attendees* receive 3 clock hours of NBCC-approved continuing education. The objectives of this training are that attendees recognize the signs of child abuse and follow the reporting requirements; increase knowledge of who is classified as a mandated reporter and what those responsibilities are under the Child Protective Services Law; increase probability of suspecting child abuse when there is “reasonable cause”; increase understanding of the dynamics of child abuse; and increase knowledge of procedure for reporting of child abuse to child protective services.

NBCC LogoBiblical Seminary, Graduate School of Counseling, has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider (ACEP #4562). Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. Biblical Seminary, Graduate School of Counseling is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.
