A Missional Christian Response to Pornography

This one credit seminar engages the challenge and affront of pornography, in pursuit of a theological and ministry framework for healthy, godly formation and in pursuit of godly habits of heart, mind, and body in matters of human sexuality. Dates and times are Friday, October 20 from 6-9 p.m. and Saturday, October 21 from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., both days at the BTS Hatfield campus. Dr. Mangum will be joined by two guest speakers:

  • Kristyn Komarnicki, Director of Dialog at Evangelicals for Social Action, well known speaker and author on the subject of relational wholeness, sexual justice, and sexual exploitation
  • Phil Monroe, Taylor Visiting Professor of Counseling and Psychology, BTS; Director of Trauma Healing for the American Bible Society

Auditors are welcome – please contact the academic office to audit the class. MDiv students who started in spring or fall 2017 (or students who have opted for the new curriculum) should complete at least 3 seminar credits during their program. Students following the LEAD MDiv curriculum should use the seminars to fulfill their LEAD retreat requirements. MA students are welcome to take seminars for elective credit.
